As the company announced, the Ace’s Poker brand is the first in the state of Washington and is envisioned to demonstrate superior gaming experience and the operator’s long-term commitment as a community partner.

Building Regional Network:

The opening of the Ace’s Poker room reportedly testifies about Maverick Gaming’s strategy to upgrade its properties in the region, interconnect them, and build its regional network through continuous investments and redevelopments. The Kirkland-based operator has already added multiple brands and properties across Nevada, Colorado, and Washington to its rapidly growing portfolio.

According to the company, Maverick plans to improve the gaming experience across all properties and rebrand these as Maverick Casino & Hotel, Ace’s Poker, Dragon Tiger Casino, or Macau Legend. The company reportedly funnels investments to local communities during the property integration process and emphasizes that its employee-led philanthropic arm, Maverick Cares, showcases the operator’s commitment as a community partner.

Responsible Community Partner:

During the opening ceremony of the ”Ace’s Poker” room, Eric Persson, Chief Executive Officer and majority owner of Maverick Gaming reportedly said: “I am excited to continue investing in our local communities by offering great jobs in a new venue for entertainment in Mountlake Terrace. Growing up in Hoquiam, it was a dream of mine to build a gaming company in my home state of Washington. Ace’s Poker is designed to be a destination of choice for those who like to play cards responsibly.”

The operator reported that it invested $2 million in renovations, local economy, and workers to launch the state-of-the-art poker room in Mountlake Terrace. Ace’s Poker will reportedly provide 90 job positions to be occupied by its workforce. On one hand, the company reportedly manifests its commitment as a responsible employer through arrangements with its union for the new job positions.

Also, it demonstrates the commitment through the Washington-largest private sector employment provided for Teamsters Local 117 members. On the other hand, Maverick boasts of implementing stringent problem gambling policies – such as the pioneering self-exclusion practice – and reports that each new facility will be included in the program.

Property Opened for Guests:

The Ace’s Poker launch marks the milestone for the company reached through the $2 million investment and renovations that included the wall mural of poker stars, more than 30 65” TVs, around 5,000 square feet of modern carpeting, flooring, customized paint, etc. The property now offers a separate private game areas, full-service bar, the branded player’s podium, and other amenities. Ace’s Poker is now open for guests to check the Maverick Gaming’s claims that it will be the most unique poker room in the state.
