Online casino games developer Microgaming has announced that the progressive jackpot tied to its five-reel and 25-payline Mega Moolah video slot recently presented one lucky iGaming aficionado with a pay-day worth slightly over €10.7 million ($11.7 million).
The Isle of Man-based innovator used an official press release to detail that the win totaling €10,735,716 ($11,744,068) was hit on Sunday via the Malta-licensed online casino at JackpotCityCasino.com and is now due to be paid out in one giant lump sum.
Microgaming declared that its progressive jackpot network is ‘the largest in the industry’ and now features an associated cumulative prize tally that stands well beyond €1.1 billion ($1.2 billion). The firm explained that this latter amount furthermore encompasses the more than €26 million ($28.4 million) it has paid out this year alone with some 150 online casino players banking awards worth at least €10,000 ($10,930).
Andrew Clucas, Chief Operating Officer for Microgaming, used the Wednesday press release to proclaim that his firm subsequently intends ‘to grow and strengthen its progressive jackpot network’ and has already added the five-reel and ten-payline Atlantean Treasures Mega Moolah title in partnership with Neon Valley Studios in addition to Alchemy Gaming’s equally impressive Wheel of Wishes video slot. He pronounced that these efforts are moreover set to continue early next month via the premiere of the potentially-lucrative Absolootly Mad: Mega Moolah advance from Triple Edge Studios.
