Microgaming has announced that it will soon be giving real-money online poker players the chance to take home a share of over €20,000 ($22,293) in cash and prizes via its second lucrative leaderboard promotion of the year.
MPN attraction:
The Isle of Man-based online casino games and software developer used an official Thursday press release to detail that its Cash Mountain campaign is set to kick off on August 12 via sites that are members of its Microgaming Poker Network (MPN). It explained that the promotion will consist of a trio of separate successive week-long competitions with each awarding the five top-placed players with the chance to select between a cash prize of €750 ($836), a live events package worth €1,500 ($1,672) or a €1,550 ($1,728) online tournament tickets package.
Second chance freerolls:
In addition, Microgaming stated that online poker competitors who end a day with negative points despite having taken part in a minimum of 100 daily Cash Mountain hands with starting stakes of at least €0.05/€0.10 are to be invited to take part in an ensuing Daily Run Bad Flip Freeroll where the ten best-performing players will each walk away with a cash prize of €50 ($55).
Minimum requirements:
Alex Scott, Poker Managing Director for Microgaming, used the press release to declare that players ‘looking to climb to the top of the Cash Mountain leaderboards’ are to be required to compete in at least 2,500 hands featuring minimum stakes of €0.05/€0.10 while points will be ‘awarded for big blind increments won at each eligible stake level.’
