Leading online casino gaming software provider, Microgaming, is heating things up with its second release for the month of November, Volatile Slot.

The launch is courtesy of an exclusive new content supply agreement with Golden Rock Studios. The Gibraltar-headquartered game development studio was founded in 2018 by former William Hill Chief Product Officer and Director of Gaming, James Curwen, and slots specialist and former Head of Gaming at William Hill, Will Mathieson.

Under the terms of the newly inked supply deal, the UK-based developer will distribute its content via Microgaming’s award-winning platform, adding to its significant games portfolio.

Game features:

The five-by-three reel, 10-payline online video slot is the development studio’s very first game launch. Described as “energetic,” the game pays left to right and is erupting with dynamic features, including an extra spins bonus and two different game modes.

From an island backdrop, an active volcano spews two types of wilds, exploding wilds and volcanic wilds, which spins in on the reels, awarding players with multipliers while triggering the extra spins feature.

Reels two, three and four will see the appearance of volcanic wilds, which substitute for all other symbols, and have the potential to make the transformation into exploding wilds which reveal either a 2x, 3x or 4x multiplier.

Big win potential:

Landing more than one exploding wild sees the initial multiplier multiplied by all of the exploding wilds set on the reels, with a trio of exploding wilds awarding players the maximum 64x multiplier, or 4x³, on total wins.
