The news service additionally reported that the winning bidder for Greece’s newest casino is to be granted a 30-year license so long as they agree to spend at least €30 million ($33.7 million) of their own cash in building the envisioned gambling facility.
Mario Kontomerkos, Chief Executive Officer for Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment, reportedly told Casino.org that he is ‘happy’ to partner with GEK Terna and that his firm’s as yet unnamed project would create thousands of jobs as well as multiple benefits for the Greek economy.

Our objective is to implement at Ellinikon a sizable investment that will be a game changer for the local and national tourism industry.”
Finally, Casino.org reported that Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment is already responsible for numerous North American casino resorts including Connecticut’s giant Mohegan Sun while it is moreover planning to open the first phase of its $5 billion Project Inspire development in South Korea during the first quarter of 2021.
