Connecticut’s giant Mohegan Sun resort has announced that members of its Momentum loyalty program will soon be able to earn discounts and benefits for use at the Baha Mar Casino and Hotel integrated casino resort in The Bahamas.

Caribbean premiere:

According to an official press release from Mohegan Sun published by Patch.com, the Momentum program was recently widened to include destinations such as Massachusetts’ Six Flags New England amusement park along with the nearby Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame while this latest extension is set to see the benefits scheme come to the Caribbean for the first time.

Four-night complimentary stay on offer:

From the first day of next month, the casino owned by the federally-recognized Mohegan Tribe declared that Soar and Ascend-level members of its Momentum program will be able to enjoy up to a four-night complimentary stay at the $4.2 billion integrated casino resort located near Nassau.

As if this wasn’t enough, the Connecticut tribal casino proclaimed that Momentum members at the Leap, Ignite and Core stages will be able to take advantage of ‘amazing discounted rates and offers’ at the Baha Mar Casino and Hotel, which opened in April of last year featuring some 2,300 hotel rooms as well as the region’s largest gaming floor.

Addition embodies ‘an impressive boost’:

Ray Pineault, President and General Manager for Mohegan Sun, stated that the addition of the Baha Mar Casino and Hotel to his property’s Momentum scheme represents ‘an impressive boost’ before describing the venue owned by Hong Kong-based conglomerate Chow Tai Fook Enterprises Limited as ‘really an amazing place to visit right on the shores of The Bahamas’.

Pineault’s statement read…

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with them and are just as excited about the opportunities our Momentum members can now take advantage of.”
