The National Indian Gaming Association‘s Mid-Year Conference & Expo is scheduled for September 19-21, 2017 at the Phoenix Renaissance in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. The mid-year conference is billed as a meeting place for tribal gaming leaders to get together and share ideas on gaming topics, learn from their peers, and meet new people through networking opportunities in an intimate venue.
The National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA) is a non-profit organization comprised of 184 independent Indian Nations and includes non-voting associate members in support industries from around the country.
The event kicks off Tuesday with an 8 a.m. golf tournament and Commissioner Certification. Exhibitors will begin setting up in the early afternoon before a networking reception is held at 5 p.m. Wednesday concludes with a Sovereignty Banquet & Concert, and after a full morning of conference sessions on Thursday, a one and a half hour afternoon session will commence.
