iStock_000000199670_1PRNewswire – TheHendonMob.com is excited to announce that Daniel Negreanu has taken over the #1 spot on The Hendon Mob’s All Time Money List – with nearly $30 Million in lifetime earnings – after his runner-up finish in the Big One for One Drop event at the 2014 World Series of Poker.

Negreanu received a tidy $8,288,001 for his second place finish in the $1,000,000 Buy-In tournament on July 1st, giving the prolific PokerStars Pro a boost big enough to take the lead in The Hendon Mob’s All Time Money List for the first time since February 2011.

The exact total of Negreanu’s live earnings from tournament poker now officially stands at $29,796,381, with his Big One for One Drop result clocking in as the biggest single cash of his career by a wide margin. The result bookends an impressive history of cashes over the years for the Canadian poker legend, with Negreanu likely cementing his place as the most consistantly successful GPI Player of the last Decade. Currently sitting at #3 on the Global Poker Index (GPI) Daniel has been a mainstay at the top of the GPI leaderboard for years, highlighted with stretches as GPI’s #1 ranked player.

Negreanu takes over the #1 spot on The Hendon Mob’s All Time Money List from 2012 Big One for One Drop winner Antonio Esfandiari, who is now 2nd on the list for the first time since initially rising to the top in July 2012. Much like Negreanu, Esfandiari was able to reach the top of The Hendon Mob’s All Time Money List – with total earnings at $26,244,377 – after a good showing in the Big One for One Drop in 2012, though he had won the event outright that year for a prize of $18,346,673 – which still stands as the largest first place prize won in tournament poker history. Phil Ivey – who hasn’t cashed in either installment of the $1 Million tournament – rounds out The Hendon Mob’s All Time Top 3 earners with total life earnings of $21,431,317.

Also of note, 2014 Big One for One Drop winner Daniel Colman single handedly jumped from 267th place to 6th place on The Hendon Mob’s All Time Money List with his winning $15,306,668 score.

Here is the The Hendon Mobs All Time Money List Top 10 as of July 2nd, 2014:
