In hopes of expanding and strengthening its operations, mobile real-money online gaming services and solutions provider Nektan has announced that Michael Byrne has been hired to lead its ‘white-label’ enterprises while Jane Ryan has been promoted to the post of Chief Operating Officer for its business-to-business unit.
Gibraltar-headquartered Nektan revealed that Byrne has joined its ranks from online casino innovator Microgaming Software Systems Limited where he worked as a regional business manager and had helped to establish a Malta hub for that firm’s Quickfire gaming platform. Before this he had reportedly served as Senior Director and Chief Commercial Officer for International Game Technology’s (IGT) interactive division subsequent to leading the mobile division of William Hill for four years.
United Kingdom and Gibraltar-licensed Nektan stated that Ryan has ‘a proven track record’ of driving and developing its international business-to-business arm and spearheaded the firm’s recent deal with Tyche Digital Malta Limited that brought its Evolve Lite gaming platform to Asia.
Gary Shaw, Chief Executive Officer for London-listed Nektan, declared that he was ‘thrilled’ to announce the double appointment before describing Byrne and Ryan as ‘two highly capable individuals’ that will now utilize their ‘wealth of industry experience and commercial acumen’ to expand his firm’s ‘white-label’ and business-to-business operations.
“Jane has performed exceptionally well for Nektan helping to drive our global business-to-business operations forward while Michael will bring a fresh perspective to ‘white-label’ with his industry experience in senior roles,” read a Tuesday statement from Shaw.
