Online casino games and solutions developer NetEnt AB has announced the launch of the first video slots in its Max mixed volatility product line via the new Berryburst and Berryburst Max titles.

Double release with same mechanics:

According to an official Thursday press release from the Swedish firm, Berryburst is a three-row video slot that features ‘a frenzy of floating and fluctuating fruity fragments’ alongside the Cluster Pays mechanic for bigger wins. The developer stated that its latest game also comes complete with an expanding stacked wild re-spins mechanic across every one of its five reels.

The Stockholm-listed innovator moreover declared that its Berryburst Max title utilizes the same mechanics to offer ‘a much higher win potential’ in order to broaden the game’s appeal to those who crave larger pay-outs. First publicized via a live-streaming session from July’s iGB Live Amsterdam that involved Swedish slots superstar Kim Hultman, the game will now presumably allow operators to run more cost-effective marketing promotions targeted at multiple player verticals.

Launches signify an ‘industry first’:

Henrik Fagerlund, Chief Product Officer for NetEnt AB, described the double-launch as ‘yet another industry first’ that was initiated following the receipt of feedback from operators and their players that had stressed the importance of ‘diversifying the volatility in our games portfolio’.

Fagerlund’s statement read…

“With Berryburst and Berryburst Max, operators can cater to different player needs in different areas of their offering, once again showing our position as the leader in slots innovation. Berryburst delivers NetEnt AB’s superior gaming experience with an exciting audio and visual display that makes it the perfect launch title for our new product range.”
