Leading game providers NetEnt have recently announced their entrance in the Latin American market through an official news update on their website. Namely, the popular game maker has partnered up with Spanish-based casino operators Codere Group who are to help the Swedish company establish its presence in the regulated Mexican online gambling market.

Codere is a multi-national company that has been involved with the casino industryever since the 1980s. Initially launched as a land-based operator of gaming machines in Spain, the company quickly expanded on an international scale, with a main focus on Latin America where they currently operate 48 casinos that are mostly located in Panama and Mexico. Already a customer of NetEnt, Codere will help the Swedish game designer introduce its vibrant portfolio to the Mexican online market through Codere’s own online license.

According to NetEnt Americas Managing Director, Björn Krantz, the company is “really excited” to make their first step in the online sector in Mexico with their new partners, Codere. This will be NetEnt’s first time to enter the Latin American gambling market, which is in alignment with their long-term plans to probe and expand over new regulated areas. As the newsletter says, Krantz is certain that Mexican players will love their exciting world-class game designs.

This is yet another success for NetEnt, who’ve recently had quite a fair share of positive stories. Namely, only two weeks ago the game studio released their Q3 financial results which showed a 27.7% increase, year-on-year, which according to their CEO was due to their planned expansion to new markets. The company also entered the land-based  sector a week ago, when they announced the launch of 10,000 NetEnt B3 gaming terminals in over 3,000 shops in the British Isles, in cooperation with London-based operators Inspired Gaming Group.
