After just over three months ago acquiring Red Tiger Gaming Limited, Stockholm based game developer and casino content provider NetEnt has now launched a new content aggregation platform, NetEnt Connect.
The hope is that the innovative new aggregation platform will allow NetEnt partners seamless access to a broader range of content and in the process save its client network time and resources as they look to introduce new offerings.
“A key incentive to work with NetEnt was to tap into the reach and markets it has built up.”
Testing stage:
According to the Monday press release, the Swedish company is currently running closed beta testing with Casino Room, operated by Ellmount Gaming Ltd., with plans for a more complete rollout shortly.
Red Tiger acquisition:
Gaming content from the slots specialist’s portfolio is being used in the testing, courtesy of the September 5, 2019, approximately $263 million all-cash deal that could additionally see $23 million more payable in 2022 based on Red Tiger’s financial performance in the interim.
The leading online provider of casino games and software, with operations in Malta, Isle of Man and Bulgaria, is the very first supplier to have its games launched by way of NetEnt Connect.
Boost volume:
Along with utilizing existing NetEnt customer relationships and integrations across multiple regulated markets, the new platform is designed to also take advantage of integrated partner game suppliers and NetEnt Engage, its own bonus and gamification engine.
In an official press release, Managing Director for NetEnt Malta and Chief Product Officer, Henrik Fagerlund, commented on the recent collaboration, saying…
“The speed with which we have been able to go live with Red Tiger content on some of NetEnt customers bears testament to the hard work and collaboration since the acquisition was completed. It also shows great promise for NetEnt Connect which is a key part of NetEnt strategy going forward.”
Untapped markets:
Also commenting on the strategic partnership was Red Tiger Gaming’s Chief Executive Officer, Gavin Hamilton, who added…
“A key incentive to work with NetEnt was to tap into the reach and markets it has built up. I’m very excited that the early collaboration between the two companies since the deal was completed has allowed NetEnt customers to go live seamlessly with Red Tiger too.”
In the coming weeks, NetEnt will “validate and monitor” the new platform’s initial launch, with a more complete launch to follow in early 2020 and starting with established integrated partner game suppliers, according to the release.
Leprechaun series:
Just prior to this news, the Swedish supplier of digitally distributed gaming systems launched its whimsical, Irish-themed title, Finn’s Golden Tavern. The charming, 5-reel, 5-row video slot is back by popular demand and follows in the footsteps of the hugely successful release, Finn and the Swirly Spin, which was released by the provider in fall 2017 and features an innovative spiral spin mechanic.
