The British gaming company NetPlay has signed a new television distribution deal with the commercial broadcast company STV Group Plc.  The companies will partner to launch the first live interactive television casino in Scotland.

NetPlay TV already operates other interactive gaming services such as SuperCasino.com and ChallengeJackpot.com.  They announced that this newest venture will be broadcast live on STV late nights on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays beginning in August.

In a statement, NetPlay’s Chief Executive Martin Higginson said, “We believe demand for broadcasters for these services will increase significantly over the coming months.”

Shareholders may share Higginson’s optimism since after the announcement of the new television casino the shares went up by 1% on the London Stock Exchange that morning.
