Casinos in Nevada have reached an all-time high when it comes to revenue earnings. July was very successful for the state, with the Strip reaching its best month ever, along with a record slot volume. This week, the Nevada Gaming Control Board released July totals and it shows that gaming win exceeded the $1 billion mark for the fifth consecutive month. Clark County was also able to hit this milestone, as it did in June as well.
A Look at July

There were special events and the month had five full weekends. The Resort World venue was also operational for a full month, which helped to add to the totals. Lawton also said that baccarat had a high hold amount which is odd for the region, with international guests playing more than normal.
Events taking place in July that brought more traffic to Las Vegas was a Garth Brooks concert early in the month. Travelers headed to Allegiant Stadium for the event. There was also a UFC fight at the T-Mobile Arena featuring Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor.
