Established gaming company Nevada Gold & Casinos announced yesterday that it will expand its Board of Directors. The operator has come to an agreement with Novation Companies and Esplanade Capital Partners and decided to boost the size of the Board of Directors for two additional members; therefore, instead of five, now there will be a total of seven members.
During the annual meeting of shareholders two candidates were nominated: Rudolph K. Kluiber, who is the GRT Capital Partners Managing Director, and Shawn W. Kravetz, Esplanade Capital LLC President and Chief Investment Officer. The current board members are William J. Sherlock, Frank Catania, William G. Jayroe, Francis M. Ricci and Wayne H. White.
According to Bill Sherlock’s statement, Chairman of Nevada Gold & Casino, the company believed that the Director Nomination Agreement would be positive for both the shareholders and the entity thanks to the “financial and business expertise” the newly proposed members would bring to the board.
