Mobile and server-based gaming innovator Inspired Gaming Group Limited has announced that its virtual sports products have been certified by the Nevada Gaming Control Board following a successful technical field trial at William Hill-operated sportsbooks in Las Vegas.
The Hydra Industries Acquisition Corporation-owned gaming firm declared that the test deployment was the first of its kind in the United States and it now intends to make its range of virtual sports products available across William Hill venues in Nevada during 2017.
“The successful completion of Inspired Gaming Group Limited’s virtual sports technical field trial in Nevada is fantastic news for the business as we bring our extensive portfolio of products to more United States venues than ever before,” said Steve Rogers, Digital Games Chief Commercial Officer for London-based Inspired Gaming Group Limited. “This announcement again confirms Inspired Gaming Group Limited as the world leader in virtual sports innovation and deployment, and we look forward to delivering cutting-edge entertainment with an edge to William Hill’s customers in Nevada.”
Inspired Gaming Group Limited declared that its virtual sports are to be shown alongside live sporting action with players able to place wagers in real time over the counter and via self-service terminals utilizing William Hill’s Competitive Beating Service platform.
“Expansion in the United States is a strategic focus for Inspired Gaming Group Limited and we’re excited to extend our virtual sports offering to specifically suit this market,” said Rogers.
