The state of Nevada was able to see a nice increase in gaming win for the month of September when compared to the same month last year. For 2016, September brought in a 3.55% increase in gaming win, with $948.9 million earned in the state, according to figures released by the Nevada Gaming Commission.

The state of Nevada has been able to record an increase in four of the last sixth months of the year in regards to revenue totals, with September being helped by an extra weekend day in 2016 that was not present last year. The game of baccarat was down 7.8% for the month in the state but was able to create $92.9 million in revenue.

Breaking down the state revenue into sections, casino in North Shore in the Lake Tahoe area were able to see an increase in earnings of 6.4% with $2.5 million for September. A 2.3% increase was seen at South Shore casinos with $21.7 million earned for the month. Carson Valley casinos were up just over 1% with $8.83 million in gaming win.

The Las Vegas Strip was able to see a solid September, earning just over $542 million which is a 7.5% increase when compared to the same time last year.

Additional increases in revenues were seen in casinos located in Washoe County as well as in Reno. Washoe County casinos earned just over $74 million for the month while Reno venues were up just over 1%.
