Located in Olympia, Washington, the Nisqually Red Wing Casino is a gaming property that originally opened in 1997. By early 2015, the property had expanded to provide almost double the original gaming floor. Now, the property is set to expand yet again, this time with the casino, a new hotel and convention space, increasing the overall size of the property.

According to The Olympian, the casino announced its plans on Saturday via a published legal notice. The Nisqually Indian Tribe has a long-term plan to expand several areas of their property. Within the legal notice, it stated that the casino is seeking professional planning and architectural firms to provide proposals with designs for long-range planning of the casino property. Plans should include a 5 year, 10 year and 20 year option.

The Nisqually Tribe is interested in expanding its gaming operations as well as developing a hotel with a convention center as well as offering more parking. Prospective architectural firms and developers have until February 7th at 1 p.m. to contact the administration office of the Nisqually Red Wind Casino to send in proposals.

Currently, the casino is home to 975 gaming machines and 22 table games. The casino is 85,000 square feet in size and has four restaurants on site for dining.
