European gaming machines giant Novomatic AG has reportedly inked a non-exclusive deal that is to see Australian counterpart Ainsworth Game Technology Limited serve as its official Asia-Pacific distribution partner.
According to a report from Inside Asian Gaming, the Austrian firm detailed that the new arrangement will involve Sydney-headquartered Ainsworth Game Technology Limited acting as its sales and service representative for gaming machine operators in nations as diverse as Cambodia, India, South Korea and New Zealand.

Inside Asian Gaming detailed that the alliance is to moreover include lucrative markets such as Macau, Vietnam, Australia and Singapore and see Robert Dijkstra, Asia-Pacific Business Development and Sales Vice-President for Novomatic AG, represent both developers by simultaneously taking on an analogous role with Ainsworth Game Technology Limited. The source explained that the agreement is to furthermore involve the former company’s Southeast Asia Sales Manager, Michael Barsin, joining the latter’s Hong Kong office from next month.
