Online casino and sportsbook software innovator NYX Gaming Group Limited has announced that it is hoping to hire a further 50 employees to work at its development center in Greece.
Las Vegas-based NYX Gaming Group Limited stated that “a variety of vacancies” are available at its technical hub in Athens and that it wants to “invest in new talent” in order to “drive further innovation in product development” in its OpenBet sportsbetting platform.
“We’re undergoing a major recruitment drive as part of our ambition to deliver the next iteration of our sportsbook platform,” read a statement from Keith O’Loughlin (pictured), Sportsbook Executive Vice-President for Toronto-listed NYX Gaming Group. “The hub already houses some of the industry’s leading engineers and we’re looking to expand our operations by hiring the very best technical talent.”
O’Loughlin was only hired in February and the former Gala Coral executive declared that NYX Gaming Group Limited’s Greek operation is moreover looking to employ front-end and business intelligence engineers alongside software architects and development managers for all of its sportsbetting, lottery, casino and bingo offerings.
“OpenBet has a global reputation and we’re constantly looking to enhance our offering to ensure our partners receive a highly flexible and scalable platform [that is] capable of taking high volumes of bets at peak times,” read the statement from O’Loughlin. “This investment is just the latest stage in our efforts to bring innovation to the sportsbetting sector and drive the industry forward.”
