Aspire Global subsidiary Pariplay Ltd has made its move into the newly regulated Dutch iGaming market after signing a supply agreement with Holland Casino for its proprietary games.

The deal will see players at the state-owned, land-based casino operator’s new online interest, hollandcasino.nl., gain access to a total of 20 cherry-picked slots. According to Pariplay, it already has a network of at least 30 games studios prepared to go live in the Netherlands, through its trademarked Fusion aggregation platform.

Market prep:

At the same time, the Gibraltar-based B2B aggregator and content provider is busy assisting its Ignite studio partners, such as Lightning Gaming, Sppiffbet and Skillzz Gaming, with having their games certified for the Dutch online market, in addition to some 15 other jurisdictions.

Commenting on the initial launch, Jeroen Verkroost, Digital Transformation Director for Holland Casino, said that Pariplay’s content is “renowned in the industry for its high-quality” and that the new content deal allows them to continue offering their players the chance to experience “the best that online gaming has to give.”

Verkroost adds that…

“With the Pariplay team’s knowledge of the Dutch market and player preferences, we are sure that both the initial 20 games and those still to come will prove to be popular, immersive choices for customers keen to play in a safe, regulated and enjoyable environment.”

Major player:

Holland Casino was one of 10 operators to be granted a license from the Netherlands Gaming Authority to offer online games of chance from October 1st, 2021, day one of Dutch gambling’s newly regulated iGaming jurisdiction. However, the land-based operator was forced to postpone its online launch due to a “persistent technical malfunction” at the Central Register of Exclusion of Gaming (Cruks) but was able to go live with its online gambling offer on October 5, 2021.

In addition to a range of online betting and gaming products, the North Holland-based operator is responsible for 14 land-based venues located throughout the Netherlands and enjoys an annual visitor count of 1.1 million.

High expectations:

Sharing in the commentary, Tsachi Maimon, Chief Executive Officer for Aspire Global, said in a company news release that they are “happy” to be part of the newly regulated Dutch market and they expect the Netherlands’ iGaming market to ultimately become one of Europe’s biggest.

“We are determined to play a major role in shaping the market and this deal with the prestigious Holland Casino allows us to do just that. With Pariplay’s innovative, relevant and entertaining games, we are excited about the possibilities in the Dutch market.”

Last month, Pariplay assured that a curated selection of its in-house games, which have already proven popular with Dutch players in the land-based sector and throughout Europe’s iGaming scene, will also be provided in addition to the aggregated casino offering made available from day one of the opening of the regulated market.
