Paul Lee has been appointed to the newly created position of Chief Sales Officer at World Gaming Group (WGG) with immediate effect. The company announced the news Monday.

World Gaming Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Andrew W. Scott, said in the statement, “In the next month you’ll see us launching two more major media channels. With all these new products we felt it was important to build out our Sales and Marketing departments and we’re delighted to have Paul join our Chief Marketing Officer Derrick Tran.” He added, “Both Derrick and Paul speak fluent Cantonese, Mandarin and English and between them they have great networks in Macau, Hong Kong and Mainland China.”

WGG’s head office is in Macau.  Additional offices are located in Hong Kong and the Philippines. The company maintains representatives in China, Europe, and North America as well as Australia.

WGG is a multi-faceted company with divisions devoted to gaming operations, consulting, and media including World Media Network Limited, World Gaming Magazine, WGM Daily, and Inside Asian Gaming which publishes the annual feature, “The Asian Gaming 50” each September.

The newly appointed Mr. Lee said, “I’m very excited to take on the role of Chief Sales Officer of World Gaming Group. While the Macau economy is changing, I’m sure our new product will be the star of the industry and serve the community well. I look forward to the new challenge and exciting business opportunities in the future.”

According to Macau Business Daily, WGG plans to make a major product announcement sometime this month. The company’s gaming operations unit, World Players Entertainment established the Ho Tram Poker Room in Vietnam in 2015 and develops gaming events and ongoing revenue share agreements, including electronic gaming, with Asian casinos.
