American electronic gaming machine supplier, PlayAGS Incorporated, has announced that it has become the first firm of its kind to sign a corporate sponsorship agreement with the Vegas Golden Knights franchise of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Arrangement involves ‘play of the game’ feature:

The Las Vegas-based firm used an official Tuesday press release to reveal that the multi-year deal is to see it sponsor a new ‘play of the game’ feature that will involve a giant video screen inside the team’s 17,500-seat T-Mobile Arena displaying key moments from the Nevada side’s home contests.

Pair to promote local communities:

PlayAGS stated that the sponsorship arrangement will start from next month and is to form part of its community outreach and employee engagement programs. As such, it detailed that it is to provide a title-night sponsor for every one of the team’s upcoming 41 regular season home games as well as any subsequent post-season match-ups in order to support the franchise’s efforts to promote the sport of ice hockey and the communities of the Las Vegas Valley.

Deal to be officially launched at G2E:

David Lopez, President and Chief Executive Officer for PlayAGS Incorporated, declared that his firm will officially launch its latest partnership during the upcoming Global Gaming Expo (G2E), which is scheduled to take place at the Sands Expo and Convention Center from October 9 to 11…

He explained that this premiere is to involve appearances by the team’s cheerleaders and Gila monster mascot alongside the debut of a promotional Vegas Golden Knights-themed slot housed in its Big Red large-format cabinet alongside similarly-designed roulette signage.

Lopez’ statement read…

The newest franchise in the NHL, the Vegas Golden Knights is owned by Black Knight Sports and Entertainment while the team’s President, Kerry Bubolz, described the partnership with PlayAGS Incorporated as ‘a big milestone’ in addition to proclaiming that he ‘couldn’t be more thrilled’ with the deal.
