On the heels of its Greyhound racing-themed release on Jan 9, Swedish games developer, Play’n GO, has now released its third new online slot of the new year, Wild Blood II, into the market.
The launch is in keeping with the slot specialists’ commitment to putting out a record number of games for 2020 and, if their first two releases are any indication of what’s to come, players can look forward to a diverse range of themes and game types to choose from throughout the year.
“a more contemporary design”
Game theme:
Set during the era of the bloody, American Civil War, the fantasy-themed vampire sequel is a substantial upgrade from the original 5×3 grid, 15 paylines slot released in 2013, Wildblood, to a 6×4 reels featuring 4,096 ways to win.
The medium volatility video slot welcomes back the Transylvanian blood sucker Dracula and his trio of obliging, undead brides, Laura, Magaret and Rebecca, whose beauty masks their true bloodthirsty nature. The three southern belles, and Dracula, who appears full-size on the last reel, comprise the game’s most lucrative characters.
Symbols and betting:
On the reels, players will find symbols such as a human skull with a burning candle and a silver knife pinned onto the image of a vampire, while the blood vial serves as the scatter.
Wild Blood II has a return to player (RTP) of 96.19 percent and top wins of 5,000x total stake, along with plenty of features including Vampire Wilds, Stacked Vampire Wild, Vampire Bat Re-Spin feature, and “Bloodlust Free Spins.”
Commenting on the firm’s latest release, Chief Executive Officer for Play’n GO, Johan Törnqvist, said in an official press release…
“Wild Blood was a very popular title for us, and we felt the time was right to give these characters another outing.
But we also wanted to ensure that we gave a new gaming experience, not just repeating the same game over again, so we have incorporated a new grid format and paytable, and more of a contemporary design to give players something new.”
Prior release and ICE London exhibit:
As mentioned, the Växjö-headquartered developer recently released a sports-themed title, Wildhound Derby. The 5-reel slot is based around the British pastime of Greyhound racing and features a unique bonus round and special feature, Dog Race.
