After recent launching its new scalable Live Cashback Blackjack variant, British software and services supplier Playtech has now partnered with Sweden’s leading gambling operator, Svenska Spel Sport & Casino. The new collaboration will see the London-headquartered firm provide its premium portfolio of online casino and live games to the Swedish regulated market.
Proven Playtech titles such as the animal-themed, 4,096 ways-to-win, Buffalo Blitz, will now be available to Svenska Spel’s customers, along with a selection of games within the Age of Gods suite, with more player favorites expected to launch throughout the year.
Chief Operating Officer for Playtech, Shimon Akad, commented on the integration in an official press release, saying…
“This is a key new partnership for Playtech. Svenska Spel Sport & Casino are the Swedish market’s leading operator, and with Playtech providing content across both online Casino and a burgeoning area such as Live Casino, it will provide a compelling offer to its customers. It also serves as a perfect example of Playtech partnering with industry leaders in regulated markets to expand and underpin new and innovate offerings.”
Meanwhile, Head of Online Casino for Svenska Spel Sport & Casino, Niklas Örtbrant, said that thanks to the “speed and efficiency” of the integration project, they have been able to “smoothly” integrate its external wallet system, resulting in “seamless launch.”
In addition to slot games, a number of games from Playtech’s live casino offering, including innovative releases such as Quantum Blackjack, have also been made available to the igaming arm of former Swedish monopoly Svenska Spel.
Vice President Casino for Svenska Spel Sport & Casino, Jonas Nygren, added…
“We are very happy to have Playtech on-board and look forward to be offering their games to our players. We believe Playtech’s existing and upcoming portfolio has much to offer, including the Age of the Gods suite of games which already have proved popular at launch. Playtech also brings exceptional innovation within the Live segment, which allows us to expand this important category for our players.”
As mentioned, Playtech recently launched an industry-first Live Cashback Blackjack, courtesy of a new partnership with leading Greek operator, Stoiximan/Betano. The eight-deck variant allows players to cash out during any action round and has six different side bet options.
