Isle of Man-based software provider Playtech announced that the company have sealed a deal with win2day to take over supply of the regulated online poker network in Austria.

The agreement obliges the supplier to work closely with the brand in order to replace current offerings and deliver a top notch quality desktop and mobile poker platform in the next three years. The information was published on Playtech’s website and revealed plans for the brand new platform to be launched mid-March, 2016.

As was pointed out in the release, Playtech have spent a great deal of effort and resources in upgrading “its award-winning iPoker client” adding a home tab, a series of new games, a new lobby and refreshed poker tables. These changes should now provide an easier and personalised access to a good selection of poker fan favorite games.

The gaming solutions provider made its platform available for testing on www.ipokerbeta.com where interested parties can check out the quick seat function and its personalisation capabilities. Furthermore, the enhanced iPoker software now comes with favourite games, which are automatically added to the player’s list and thus can be easily accessed. Additional improvements include upgraded filters, lobby personalisation and a brand new tiled design.

Regarding the win2day deal, Playtech’s head of iPokes, Joerg Nottebaum, stated that one of the provider’s main strengths has been working in “regulated and newly regulating markets.” He also expressed delight of reaching agreement with the win2day brand and revealed that Playtech was looking forward to developing Austria’s poker network in the years to come.

Win2day is a popular multi-channel gaming platform owned by Casinos Austria AG and Austrian Lotteries. Its gaming offer, aside from poker includes lottery, bingo and a Rabcat powered casino section.
