The 2018 Poker Masters continues at the Aria Resort and Casino, with the PokerGO Studio capturing all the gaming action. Event #3 just finished up with Keith Lehr earning the first place win, defeating a field of 36 other players to win the $25,000 Pot Limit Omaha title.
Only Omaha Tournament:
Event #3 is the only Omaha tournament on the 2018 Poker Masters schedule, with Lehr ready to dominate in this game category. Lehr is known for his game play in Omaha, be it in tournaments or cash games. For the poker pro to claim the win this time around, he would have to defeat Jonathan Depa in the heads-up round.
According to PokerNews…
The heads-up round would last for some time, with Depa managing to go all-in three times and not strike out. He eventually was able to push his stack over the million mark but was unable to come up with the win in the end.
The Final Hand:
The final hand would go down with Depa limping in from the button. Lehr would check. The flop came and then so did the raising. Depa was all-in again and Lehr would call. Depa would find himself in the lead with two pair but the turn would give Lehr a higher pair and the win!
