The regulated gaming market of Sweden has now grown, with Pragmatic Play live with their portfolio of content in the region. The top-rated content provider is now offering their online gaming content via licensed operators, including such brands as Svenska Spel and PokerStars.
Regulated Market 2019:
On January 1st, the regulated market opened in Sweden, which signaled the entry of Pragmatic Play. The entry into the market comes just two months after the brand was approved by the Government of Gibraltar for a B2B supplier license.
According to European Gaming…
Pragmatic’s Chief Commercial Officer, Melissa Summerfield, commented on the new launch by stating: “Expanding in regulated jurisdictions is central to our strategic ambitions, and entering Sweden is a big piece of the puzzle for Pragmatic Play as we continue to move forward. We have cemented our standing as a provider that pushes the boundaries with an award-winning portfolio of content, and we look forward to bringing our games to Swedish operators including Svenska Spel.”
Moving Forward:
The launch in Sweden comes at the same time as the developer announces new content for their portfolio. Earlier this week, the company announced a new slot game set to launch on the 17th. Mustang Gold is a western themed game, where wild mustangs roam free. The title includes a bonus game and spins, so players stay immersed while spinning the reels.
The new slot game will add to the company’s already large portfolio. Swedish players will be able to take part in all gaming content of the developer including this new title once it is launched.
