Quickspin, the Swedish slot provider owned by Playtech, has announced the release of a new product called the Achievements Engine, via an official press release on Wednesday. The innovation, according to the company, was conceived and developed to provide a more stimulating experience for the players and drive value to their licensees.

Achievement Engine is a game module that will be incorporated into every slot supplied by Quickspin to offer different rewards to the players who spin them. The module uses six-game events, like when two wild symbols are won, or a Scatter symbol lands on the reels, to award the so-called Quickspin Tokens. When each event is triggered, the player will receive new tokens that will fill up one of the six progress bars that are unique to the game.

Each progress bar has four levels, and with each higher level, you can win better prizes. The prize list includes free spins, triggering the bonus round, playing side-games, etc. Each slot will also include a separate page where you can track progress and exchange tokens, while the first game to incorporate the tool will be the Sakura Fortune slot.

The company says that the launch of the Achievements Engine is in line with the strategy of their parent company, Playtech, to integrate new real-time engagement tools that would provide their licensees with the option to incentivize their players. Daniel Lindberg, CEO of Quickspin, said that gamification was a “hot topic” for the company and he believes they were able to deliver a “perfect” example of it with their new module.

He also adds that there is an achiever lying in every person that likes to receive rewards for completing tasks, and by integrating a feature that allows this into their slots, they will be able to provide players with a more entertaining and immersive experience.
