Following a successful two-week exclusivity period with the GVC group, British online casino software company Realistic Games has made its latest title, Bar-X Game Changer, available across its entire network.

The developer has adapted the famous Bar–X land-based brand for online slot players.

The launch of Realistic’s third Game Changer slot comes on the heels of the Reading-headquartered firm’s landmark partnership deal with Electrocoin, manufacturer and supplier of products and services to the amusement industry.

The virtual version features the developer‘s innovative new game concept Game Changer bonus round which adds a unique and modern element to gameplay.

Game mechanics:

Presented as a 5-reel, 20-payline slot, the new game features more than two million game boards during the bonus round, which is set in motion via any combination of boxed symbols developing around the edge of the reels.

Players maneuver the game board by rolling random dice, either landing on a prize symbol or possibly losing a square for the opportunity to win up to 1000x the initial bet. Adding an extra element of excitement, every prize in the bonus round is twice that in the base game, increasing winning potential. The game even features a “no lose” board!

As stated, Bar-X Game Changer was launched exclusively across the GVC brands for a two-week period from May 13, before then going live across the network on May 28.

Planned releases:

Realistic will be transforming all of the classic titles in the Bar-X series including Super Bar-X, Magic 7, Magic 10, Bar-X 7even and Big 7 into online games that are in keeping with the retro feel and nostalgia of the originals, and will be presenting them in their signature 3D cabinets.

Like Bar-X Game Changer, the two firms will also develop Super Bar-X Game Changer, which will also feature a version of Realistic’s advanced board game bonus round concept, alongside two instant win Pull Tab games using the Bar-X brand.
