Hot on the heels of the release of its “Trillionaire” video slot and leading online casino games developer Red Tiger has unleashed a revamped infinite reels concept in Dragon’s Fire: InfiniReels, marking its third collaboration with NetEnt slot studios.
It is the third iteration of the original fantasy-themed slot released on August 2, 2018, and brings the heat with its beautiful design and exciting combination of the smash hit from Red Tiger and its parent company‘s trademarked mechanic InfiniReels, which offers players unlimited win ways.
Successful series:
The launch follows the major commercial success of previous studio cooperations, Gonzo’s Quest Megaways and Piggy Riches Megaways, both of which utilize the mechanic licensed by Big Time Gaming. The former was released in July last year and is the reworking of the original, which is the “first ever video slot to use cascading symbols in place of a conventional reel,” while the latter is enhanced with Red Tiger’s Smart Spins and Daily Jackpots.
Set in a dragon’s lair reminiscent of the one in which Smaug from J. R. R. Tolkien’s 1937 novel The Hobbit and Peter Jackson’s film adaptation, guards a vast hoard of treasure, the 3-reel, 3-row, high volatility video slot offers a max win of over 10,000x.
Game features:
With a dramatic score enhancing the mythical backdrop, each win sees a new reel added to the right side of the locked reels filled with gilded Fire Eggs, Fire Wilds, Dragon Spins and more, all guarded by the firebreather, for the next spin. Anticipation hangs in the air while each time the number of bet ways are multiplied by three.
Activating the Fire Egg feature happens when a Scatter symbol unveils a multiplier that is applied to every win. For each spin, only one egg can land, with new egg symbols adding to the current amount of the multiplier if one is already live. Upon the resetting of the reels to their original state, the multiplier also resets. If three Dragon Spins land on the first three reels, 8 Dragon Spins will launch. After that, only a single randomly selected symbol will land. Another +2 Spins Scatter symbol revealed in Dragon Spins will see two more spins added to the bonus round.
Major milestone:
Todd Haushalter, Chief Product Officer for Swedish online casino provider Evolution Gaming Group AB (EVO.ST), which acquired Red Tiger owner NetEnt AB for approximately $2.1 billion late last year, said the new slot “represents a major new milestone” for both NetEnt and Red Tiger, that it builds on the “huge success” of the two previous iterations in the series and is the “perfect way to further showcase the exciting potential of NetEnt’s infinite reels concept.”
The CPO added that they are “looking forward to players sampling the thrill of InfiniReels™ in this new adaptation perfectly crafted to fit the Dragon’s Fire series gameplay features that slots players already know and love.”
As mentioned, the original Dragon’s Fire was followed by the successful launch of Dragon’s Fire Megaways in September 2019.
Fans can expect Red Tiger to launch its next hit, Dragon’s Luck Deluxe, in the coming week.
