On the heels of its most recent content deal and Malta-headquartered provider of online gaming solutions, Yggdrasil Gaming Ltd., has added yet another hit title to its rapidly-growing YG Masters offering after launching Desperate Dawgs from Reflex Gaming.
Leveraging Yggdrasil’s state-of-the-art GATI technology, the UK-based studio’s 5-reel, 3-row video slot transports players to the Wild West where a trio of pedigreed pooches is up to no good in Doge City. There, players are invited to aid and abet the four-legged gang of desperados on the reels as they claim cash from their heists.
Multiple bonus games:
Packed with features including three different triggerable bonus games including the Wagon Trail, Crime Spree, and Bank Buster rounds, the 20 paylines game offers wins up to x3902 and €390,200! With the exception of the top-paying logo symbol, all winning combinations are formed with at least three like icons, which include a sheriff’s badge, pistol, diamonds, and club, spade and heart card suites.
Only two game logos are needed to form a winning combination while landing five of a kind non-card suit symbols adds up to 10 to 25 times the stake. The barrel, which serves as the Wild in the low to medium volatility game, replaces all other pay symbols to complete those winning combinations.
As for the game’s three bonus games:
- Wagon Trail is activated by landing at least three, yellow “Chumdance Kid” symbols on the reels. Players then choose one of the covered wagons to reveal their prize.
- Launching the Crime Spree feature happens when three or more of the green “Dog Holliday” symbols, which awards 10 extra spins with the added bonus of an increasing multiplier on each extra spin. Retriggering the feature has the potential to increase its multiplier up to 30x.
- Bank Buster is triggered when three of the red “Josey Tails” characters land on 1, 3, & 5. Players then choose numbers from a keypad to try to unlock a safe. Upon cracking the unique code, one of three of the bronze, silver, and gold safes open to award a prize. Players continue to choose a safe until one opens fully.
Chief Product Officer for Reflex Gaming, Mat Ingram said that the studio’s “newest hit adds plenty of bonus rounds into an action-packed slot and gives players a chance to enjoy multiple ways to win big.” The CPO went on to say that as a YG Masters partner, they have been able to “scale new distribution heights” and they are “delighted” to unveil their latest title.
GATI technology:
Desperate Dawgs, which has a 95.03 percent max RTP, is the most recent title to launch in partnership with the British independent manufacturer and game developer after the company became the latest YG Masters studio partner to license Yggdrasil’s Gigablox mechanic. This classic spinner is developed via Yggdrasil’s advanced GATI technology, which allows players to utilize the preconfigured, standardized development toolkit that is regulation-ready and produces content that is consistently at the forefront of innovation followed by rapid deployment.
Calling it a “fun-filled take on some of the craziest crime capers in the Wild West, Head of Partner Programs for Yggdrasil, Stuart McCarthy said they are “extremely happy” to add Desperate Dawgs to its YG Masters offering. He added that the company’s partnership with Reflex Gaming is going from “strength to strength,” and they “look forward to more milestones together.”
GEM deal:
The new online slot release closely follows a deal with up-and-coming game development studio and YG Masters partner Peter & Sons to license one of the Cherry Ab subsidiary’s three game engagement mechanics (GEM), Gigablox. The agreement allows the Armenian company to implement the framework into its games development process, with the first enhanced title to be realized prior to the year’s end.
