The Riga Gaming Congress is fast approaching and will offer information about the ongoing development of the gambling industry in Latvia as well as the legal framework there – and a lot more. The Congress will host more than a dozen highly qualified speakers from over ten different countries. While the focus is on Latvia, the Congress will give delegates access to information that is highly relevant in every gambling jurisdiction. Cryptocurrency discussions will punctuate the agenda throughout.
Latvia is a fiercely independent country with a robust legal and regulatory framework in place for the gambling industry. Online gambling is permitted and there are several land-based casinos in operation. Land casino spend rose more than 80% between 2010 and 2015, the last numbers we have available.
Riga Gaming Conference will bring to the forefront issues and solutions for the development of the land-based and online casino industries. Included in the range of topics will be bookmaking, eSports, and Fantasy Sports.
The Demo Zone or exhibition area will see manufacturers and developers of land and online casino software and equipment from the Baltic countries, Europe, the CIS, USA and Canada present new products, technologies, and solutions. The relaxed environment will also allow delegates the opportunity to relax and get to know foreign peers and colleagues.
Among those participating in the Demo Zone will be Dao.Casino; Royal Casino Spa & Hotel Resort – located in Riga; Tom Horn Gaming, a rising online games provider; Zatoshi – a payment platform for cryptocurrency; Kinguin, Casexe, Hash Rush, Slotegrator, and representatives of a mid-core mobile online RPG fantasy game, Lordmancer II, who will start their crowdfunding campaign on October 23.
During the conference, speakers will inform delegates on a variety of up-to-the-minute issues and opportunities including virtual and augmented reality in gaming, cutting-edge blockchain technologies, casino branding, legislative framework, and more.
The CEO of Kinguin, Viktor Romaniuk Wanli will discuss blockchain in gambling.
Michael Boettcher, CEO of Storm International will discuss the legislative framework of gambling in Germany, Armenia, Georgia, and Latvia and is sure to relate his personal business experience.
Ethereum smart contracts for gambling will be covered by Dao.Casino Project Manager, Aleksandra Fetistova.
The Head of Development at the Minsk, Belarus Casino Belaya Vezha, Vasiliy Stepanov, will highlight ways to assess the cost of a casino brand.
We also understand that SiGMA organizer, Eman Pulis, will be on hand and that attendees will have a chance to receive an invitation to the international forum to be held in Malta in late November.
The Riga Gaming Congress will be held October 12, 2017, at the Bellevue Park Hotel Riga. To view the full agenda or to register your interest in this Smile-Expo event, please visit https://rgcongress.eu/en
