Lauded as an “important milestone,” UK-based online casino software developer Realistic Games has bolstered its position in Europe after securing a supplier license from the Romanian National Gambling Office (ONJN).

Obtaining the license maeans that Romanian operators will be able to offer their players titles from Realistic’s games suite which includes casino, pull tabs, 3 reels and 5 reels slots.

Commenting on the acreditation, Robert Lee, Commercial Director for Realistic Games, said…

“Being granted a licence to provide our games in Romania is an important milestone for us as we continue on our growth strategy and bring innovative new content to regulated markets.”

The commercial director went on to explain that Romania is a “thriving region” and one Southern Europe’s most active. Lee added that they will, “in due course” announce a “string of operator partnerships” as they make their mark in the Balkan country.

The Biritish supplier’s diverse portfolio comprises table games and a broad range of slots including the successful Game Changer series, with the very first of eight launched on February 27, 2020, with GVC Holdings, along with its catalog of Electrocoin remakes, instant win games and player favorite classics such as Super graphics Upside Down and its latest Game Changer title, 8th Wonder, released on June 30th.

Obtaining the supplier license from the ONJN marks the latest expansion for the Reading-headquartered provider which also possesses certifications to offer its award-winning content to local operators in other regions including Latvia, Estonia, Croatia, Sweden and the UK.

The Romanian approval follows the release of 6 Appeal Extreme, a revamped version of one of its classic slots, 6 Appeal Deluxe. The original version is still one of the developer’s most successful games and the remake has seen a selection of exciting features added to introduce the line to a whole new audience.

With the 5-reel, 20 win line slot, players are given new options and engagement with a free spins bonus round complete with a multiplier that increases when reactivated. Other enhancements include a max win of 6,666x and, depending on the jurisdiction, a feature buy-in.
