Top social casino developer, Ruby Seven Studios, was recently acquired by Delaware North, a food service and hospitality company known worldwide for their services. Delaware North is also an operator of regional destinations casinos and will use the acquisition of Ruby Seven Studios to launch their very own mobile as well as social gaming platform online.

The new online options will be used to increase the engagement of customers as well as to complement the land-based gaming portfolio. Delaware North plans on marketing the platform to the millions of visitors who visit the TD Garden, as well as the company-owned restaurants, hotels and gaming venues.

With the acquisition, Delaware North will also be able to offer social casino gaming options to other companies, both in media and gaming. This will include the current clients of Ruby Seven, such as Tropicana Entertainment Inc, Pechanga Resort & Casino of California and Coral Interactive of the United Kingdom.

Delaware North President, E. Brian Hansberry, stated that the combined forces of the Delaware North brand and Ruby Seven’s social gaming experience will allow the company to be able to enter the social casino market successfully.
