Two weeks after signing a deal to provide administrative systems technology to the Arizona Lottery and American gaming machine and systems innovator Scientific Games Corporation has inked a similar agreement with Germany’s Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz GmbH.
Las Vegas-headquartered Scientific Games Corporation revealed that the latest five-year arrangement with Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz GmbH will see it supply the German lottery operator with a range of instant games along with updates to its associated Cooperative Services Program management innovation.
Scientific Games Corporation explained that its relationship with the lottery operator for the southern German federal state of just over four million inhabitants goes back over 30 years while proclaiming that the initial debut of its Cooperative Services Program some ten years ago has since helped Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz GmbH to grow its instant game sales by almost 382%.
John Schulz, Instant Products Senior Vice-President for Scientific Games Corporation, declared that he is ‘honored’ to be able to ‘continue our great work’ with Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz GmbH for ‘another five years’ and stated that his firm is partnering with the operator to offer ‘a full category management approach to marketing their instant games’.
Scientific Games Corporation detailed that it moreover supplies Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz GmbH with retailer terminals, sportsbetting services and a central management system while its instant game facilities encompass all consulting, marketing, design and production duties as well as sales, distribution and warehousing for the operator’s network of approximately 930 vendors.
“We are pleased that we were able to prevail in the Europe-wide tender and Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz GmbH once again chose Scientific Games Corporation as its instant games partner due to our local resources and know-how, logistics infrastructure in close proximity to the lottery’s premises and retail network as well as our more than four decades of experience with instant games,” read a Tuesday statement (pdf) from Matthias Muller, Germany Managing Director for Scientific Games Corporation.
