Three weeks after inking a deal to continue supplying the Kentucky Lottery Corporation with a range of instant games and American gaming machine and systems innovator Scientific Games Corporation has announced the signing of a similar agreement with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.

Las Vegas-based Scientific Games Corporation declared that the contract extension with the state-run Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation will see it continue to provide the provincial Canadian operator with a range of scratch-off games such as its Scrabble, Words With Friends and AMC: The Walking Dead titles through to the end of July of 2022.

Scientific Games Corporation explained that the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has contributed almost CAD$47 billion ($36.8 billion) to the province of Ontario since being established in 1975 while the innovator’s Instant Products Senior Vice-President, John Schulz, stated that he was ‘delighted’ to be able to continue supplying the operator with instant games.

“For many years, Scientific Games Corporation and its predecessor companies have been proud to offer highly secure and responsible games that generate revenues for the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation and the province of Ontario,” read a Monday statement (pdf) from Schulz.

For his part, Randy Weyersberg, Lottery Marketing and Planning Vice-President for the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, described Scientific Games Corporation as a ‘trusted lottery supplier’ subsequent to proclaiming that he was looking forward to continuing to engage with customers and generate revenues through the use of the Nevada firm’s ‘innovative and exciting instant games’.
