Gaming products and services provider Scientific Games has announced that it will be holding the second annual installment of its Shuffle Master Classic poker event complete with a $250,000 prize pool to be shared by the top seven competitors.

Scientific Games declared that poker players can qualify for the Shuffle Master Classic final, which is to be contested using its Three Card Poker games, at 219 participating casinos across the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and The Bahamas until August 31 while the champion is to be crowned on September 26 at The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas.

To secure a seat in the Three Card Poker National Championship final, players must hit a classic hand on one of ten Shuffle Master proprietary table games encompassing Three Card Poker, DJ Wild, Flushes Gone Wild, Four Card Poker, Caribbean Stud Poker, Let It Ride, Mississippi Stud, Ultimate Texas Hold ‘Em, Texas Hold ‘Em Bonus and Crazy 4 Poker. Scientific Games explained that a classic hand is to be defined as a six-card straight flush in Three Card Poker or a five-card royal flush in any of the other games.

“This innovative proprietary table games promotional event provides an exciting experience for players and offers a unique marketing opportunity for participating casinos,” read a statement from Roger Snow, Table And Utility Products Senior Vice President for Las Vegas-based Scientific Games. “With a 33-year heritage of gaming industry innovation, we are thrilled to build upon a legacy of excellence in Shuffle Master table game products by sponsoring this promotional event. The Shuffle Master Classic is an ideal way to celebrate our legendary proprietary table games and the continued success of Three Card Poker, [which is] the most popular proprietary casino card game in play today around the world.”

Scientific Games stated that every qualifier for the final of its Shuffle Master Classic is to receive travel credits to cover expenses as well as exclusive Las Vegas experiences such as access to an exclusive welcome party.

“This Three Card Poker National Championship event, which is being held in conjunction with the 2016 Global Gaming Expo, will bring the best and luckiest players from around North America to Las Vegas for a day filled with tournament action and excitement,” read the statement from Snow.
