The coronavirus outbreak has shut down many businesses around the globe as well as events. It seems the ICE-SiGMA Asia DIGITAL interactive experience has now been affected as well. The SiGMA and the AIBC Manila expos were supposed to take place on June 8th and 9th. However, they have now been postponed until next year, on May 27th and 28th. For this year, SiGMA Manila will work with Clarion Gaming’s ICE Asia to offer a digital conference.
Online for 2020:
The ICE-SiGMA Asia DIGITAL will run June 8th to the 10th with delegates now able to register for free to attend the event in the virtual space. The conference will last for three days and offer information on tech and gaming sectors. The content will be free and focus on bringing the industry together during this difficult time. Delegates who choose to register will be given a free standard entry for the 2021 Manila event.
Eman Pulis, the CEO and Founder of SiGMA Group, commented on the change by stating that the digital conference will embrace the difficulties that everyone is facing at this time when working together has never been more important. With Covid-19, it has provided a unique opportunity to rethink how everyone lives and works.
During the interactive conference, delegates will be able to listen in during panel discussions and hear from keynote speakers. Discussions will be hosted that will engage the gaming community and shape the way the industry adapts to the fast-changing environment around the globe.
For the 2021 in-person conference, SiGMA now has almost a year to prepare so they have decided to increase the floor space on offer. A much larger show is in the works with the group working with partners and suppliers to finalize the details of the conference and plan on sharing information as the plans come together over the next few weeks.
