In a deal that advances its position in the European market, iSoftBet has partnered with iGaming software specialist Sportingtech, strengthening the latter’s omni-channel Quantum platform even further.
The mutually beneficial collaboration will see Sportingtech integrate casino content from the online games supplier onto its user-friendly platform in keeping with its effort to “bring the best gaming experiences possible to a greater worldwide audience,” while iSoftbet will leverage the platform provider‘s presence in regulated markets throughout Europe, supplying its games portfolio to the company’s extensive operator network.
Malta-based online sportsbook and casino operator Betzest will be the first to take advantage of the deal, taking iSoftBet’s premium content live by way of the Quantum platform and making top-performing titles such as the mining themed, Gold Digger, the award-winning, flagship video slot of 2021, Moriarty Megaways, and the recently released Greek mythology-inspired, Colossus: Hold & Win, available to players.
Market share:
Commenting on the new collaboration that represents a “substantial milestone,” Ivo Doroteia, Sportingtech Chief Executive Officer said…
“Our knowledge of regulated markets is second to none and this partnership now gives us the opportunity to offer our operator network, including Betzest, even more high-quality games.
“We look forward to working with iSoftBet to bring the best gaming experiences possible to a greater worldwide audience.”
Portugal importance:
The agreement is, according to iSofttBet, of “particular significance” in Portugal’s regulated market, as it will look to make use of Sportingtech’s “expertise” to advance its presence in the southern European country where it one of the first game providers to secure a license.
Via company blog, Lars Kollind, Head of Business Development for iSoftBet, said they are “excited” to partner with Sportingtech, as they are “keen to make serious headway in regulated markets around the globe.”
He adds that Sportingtech’s strength in Europe is “unmatched,” especially when it comes to the Portuguese market,” and the progress they are set to make is a prospect they “relish.”
Market regulation:
Still relatively new, Portugal’s regulated online gambling market went into effect in June 2015 and on May 25 of the following year, the first online sports betting license was issued to Well Operations Limited, operating under the Bwin brand. A little more than a month later, on July 25, 2016, an online casino license was issued to Estoril Sol Digital Online Gaming Products and Services, SA by the country’s gambling regulator, Serviço de Regulação e Inspeção de Jogos (Gambling Inspection and Regulation Service) (SRIJ).
Flagship product:
Sportingtech’s flagship Quantum platform harnesses scalable, modular software and meets the requirements of a variety of markets while offering more than 9,000 games from hundreds of tier-one studios. Designed to improve and boost player betting experiences and retention, the highly customizable solution provides operators access to over 65 sports and more than 1,000 betting markets.
Kaizen tie-up:
The latest deal follows iSoftBet’s content integration agreement with one of Europe’s fastest-growing game tech companies, Kaizen Gaming, via the operator’s Betano brand in Bulgaria. The new collaboration further strengthens the relationship between the two entities, with the London-headquartered provider previously partnering with Kaizen brand Stoiximan in 2019.
