The state of Iowa has seen the casino industry change, with riverboat casinos moving to land, which has brought the promise of new jobs at gaming venues. Rhythm City Casino and the Isle of Capri are hiring, helping to provide additional income opportunities for residents of the state.

Located in Davenport, the Rhythm City Casino will open in about two months. Currently, the venue is providing close to 250 jobs for construction workers who are finishing up the final details of the project. The venue has a cost of $110 million, which includes the gaming venue, sports lounge, and restaurant plus hotel guest rooms.

As riverboat casinos move to land, such as the Rhythm City Casino, the opportunity for employment will continue. Casino workers can be trained in Dealers School, which takes place each week at Rhythm City, helping to train potential dealers to work the table games. Additional positions of employment are open as well within the venue, including servers, retail positions, cooks, cashiers and more.

The Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf will open by next year, offering positions of employment during the construction phase as well as employment once the venue is complete.
