When online poker gambling was legalized and regulated within the state of Nevada, Treasure Island Hotel & Casino was able to secure an online gaming license. This was over three years ago and the casino has yet to launch an online poker site. Now, the casino has announced they will be launching a subscription poker platform, with players paying a membership fee to take part.

At some point during the summer, Treasure Island will begin offer the online poker platform option via a subscription service. Strategy Entertainment will be powering the gaming platform, which will offer daily poker tournaments.

The casino revealed that players will be rewarded based on their performance in an individual tournament. Prizes will include resort items as well as cash. Members of the subscription service will also be able to win entries to live poker events at the casino during game play.

Director of Casino Marketing & Poker Operators for Treasure Island, Brian Conley, stated that thanks to the casinos partnership with Strategic Entertainment, the customer base will now have a secure and value-centered way to engage with Treasure Island, player poker even they do have the option to be on property.

The new subscription site will offer three tiers of membership. Players will be able to sign up and play for free, become a Gold member with a $9.95 cost or pay $14.95 and be a Platinum member. Tournaments will run every 15 minutes with new players earning a free month of Platinum benefits including entries to drawings to win special rewards.
