Czech-based SYNOT Group has recently acquired an existing casino license at the crossroads of Western Asia and Eastern Europe in Tbilisi, the capital and largest city of Georgia.
Roland Andrýsek, sales director of SYNOT Group, said, “Georgian lottery market is fairly heavily regulated, the country has only a limited number of casinos, concentrated mainly in the capital. Therefore, we are delighted to have acquired a license to operate one of them.” Andrýsek added, “In this country, we have already started to operate during this year, in cooperation with the local business partner. From a business perspective we are speaking about very interesting location, so that we are pleased to continue with our activities development here, according to the press release.
Andrýsek went on to say that the new casino has more than 200 gaming machines and that in the future, SYNOT expects “the construction of other similar casinos in this country, and even in other cities.”
