The partypoker LIVE MILLIONS North America has come to an end in Montreal, Canada, with Taylor Black earning the first-place win as the final tournament finished up, the Main Event. From California, Black claimed his very first MILLIONS title and earned CAD1,400,000 as well. Black was able to earn the win after defeating Darryll Fish in heads up play.

The Main Event had a buy-in of C$5,300 with 1,954 players competing in the poker tournament. According to partypoker, only 251 of that number would earn a cash prize. The final day would see nine players returning, all vying for the coveted title of winner.

Eventually, the field narrowed down to the final two, with Fish and Black going head to head. Black would have a nice chip lead over Fish with 1,590,000,000 while his opponent held 350,000,000. It would take over two hours for the two to battle before Black would claim the win.

On the final hand, Fish would bet 45 million and Black would three-bet to 140 million. Fish would call and after a 9-6-4 flop, Black would lead in with 130 million. Fish was then all-in. Black called quickly. Fish would show Q-9 of spades with Black holding a pair of Aces. The 6 on the first was followed by a Queen on the river which gave Fish two pair, but Black had the higher two pair and claimed the first-place win.
