Hard on the heels of its latest title from Gameburger Studios, Isle of Man-based software development company, Microgaming, now takes us on a quest inside a Victorian-era manor in its new release, A Dark Matter.

Developed for Microgaming by Slingshot Studios, one of the nine independent game studios working exclusively with the supplier, the new online slot features engaging artwork and brings to life a cast of mysterious characters.

The plot thickens:

The backdrop for this five-reel video slot is the charming English town of Stonehurst, where a growing sense of dread has fallen over residents after the once sleepy village has been plagued by a series of puzzling disappearances.

Players are challenged to determine whether these events have anything to with the frightening Wraith Manor, as they join Nathan Highmore, a paranormal investigator for Scotland Yard, as he searches the spinning reels for the secrets that lay within the gated manor veiled in mystery and menace.

Ghoulish features:

As they land on reels 2 or 4, Invading Wilds release their supernatural power and spread to adjacent reels creating a sizeable block of 6 wilds.

Stacked wilds landing on reels 2 and 4 during the same spin, combine to storm the middle reel, which creates a block of 9 wilds with considerable win potential.

In the base game when a trio of doorknocker symbols are revealed, exhilarating extra spins are triggered, allowing players to enter the gated manor’s lounge earning them an initial 12 extra spins.

Each additional scatter symbol landed during the feature awards players one extra spin. Intrigue and excitement are palpable as the haunting score grows more intense when invading Wilds envelope the three middle reels, which brings about a 2x multiplier and even greater win potential.
