It doesn’t look like gambling in Colorado will be expanded any time soon. Voters in Tuesday’s election overwhelmingly denied Arapahoe Park Racing & Entertainment the opportunity to add casino gaming to their offerings. Amendment 68 was crushed nearly 3-1.

Black Hawk, Silver City, and Cripple Creek operators still hold most of the cards in the Colorado casinos game along with Sky Ute and Ute Mountain tribal casinos.
