After an extensive renovation, a newly remodeled race and sports book at Wynn Las Vegas was unveiled Tuesday.

The newly renovated space includes the addition of a nearly 1,600-square-foot wraparound LED video screen which highlights a new restaurant concept and a sophisticated design. The high-definition LED video wall which is 11 feet high and 137 feet wide, and has a total of 21 million pixels, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The design is such that patrons have a horizontal and vertical viewing angle of 160 degrees. It also allows for views of 35 additional television monitors.

Guests can now watch live game action from the casino level in a large bar with plush lounge seating.

Located adjacent to the Race & Sports Book, Charlie’s Bar + Grill will debut Friday, August 4. Named after Steve Wynn’s longtime friend Charlie Meyerson, the bar and grill will feature dining and direct views of the games.

Wynn Race & Sports Book is a horse player’s paradise with its seats outfitted with personal monitors, USB plugs and electrical outlets and individual lighting. Patrons can order a variety of handhelds and specialty game day comfort foods from Charlie’s Bar + Grill or opt for a delivery of pizza and other Italian staples from nearby Allegro. Those seated in the Race & Sports Book are also able to order form the full menu for delivery.

Debuting its own race and sports book is Encore, which is located adjacent to Wynn Las Vegas. Look for the Las Vegas race and sports book to open on Monday.
