Poker players have arrived at the Wynn Las Vegas to take part in the Wynn Winter Classic, a poker series running from December 2nd until the 22nd. The schedule is full of action, with combined guarantees coming in at $2.8 million.

The Wynn Winter Classic has just begun so players still have plenty of time to take part. The series kicked off with a $360 + $40 No Limit Hold’em tournament featuring a $100,000 prize pool guarantee. Today, the Seniors event begins, offering action for players 50 years and up. The Seniors tournament is no limit hold’em as well, and has the same $360 + $40 buy-in.
Omaha players will find action today and tomorrow, with a Pot Limit Omaha tournament kicking off today and a Limit Omaha 8/B starting tomorrow. The Pot Limit event will have a $20,000 guaranteed prize pool while the Limit option will offer $10,000.
The larger events on the schedule will feature $250k, $500k and $1.5m prize pools. The $250,000 event starts on the 5th and offers No Limit Hold’em action for $545 + $55. Players start with a 20,000 chip stack and blind levels increase every 40 minutes.
The $500,000 event starts on the 12th with $1,020 + $80 buy-ins. However, on the 11th, players can start taking part in Super Satellites for the event at just $175 + $25. In the regular tournament, chip stacks start at 25,000 with 40 minute blind levels.
For the $1.5 million event, players will find the NLH Championships has a $5,000 buy-in plus $300. Chip stacks start at $50,000 with 60 minute blind levels.
