Having recently announced its new Christmas promotion, Swedish online gaming solutions provider, Yggdrasil, has now launched its new Splitz mechanic, which the company anticipates will boost the level of excitement of its coming releases.

The way it works is that Mystery Symbols drop down onto the reels and the animation uncovers just how many symbols the tile will break off into, all the while the anticipation grows.

Up to 12 symbols can be revealed per stack, making for massive win potential, as each of the reveals will be of a matching symbol.

To be released in January, the Stockholm-headquartered firm’s new title, Temple Stacks, will be the first game to feature the innovative new mechanic. An industry first, the game will reportedly offer more than 200, 000 ways to win!
