Casino groups including owners and machine manufacturers would like to team up with the National Association of Attorney Generals to stop illegal gambling. In a Monday April 13, 2015 press conference, Geoff Freeman, the president of American Gaming Association, announced they would like to put an end to illegal gaming.

Freeman believes legal casinos, with proper licenses, are losing revenue in locations that have illegal gambling establishments. He would like this stopped. He also told press that the states are losing money. Taxes are not paid by illegal locations and in some cases suspected criminal activity may be funded by these illegal places. By partnering with State Attorney Generals, casino operators and manufacturers hope to stop this loss of funds.
